Latest News: The Zoppoth Law Firm, on behalf of the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund, a national transgender-rights organization, filed a lawsuit today (8.9.17) against Amazon for discrimination and harassment of two of its employees, a husband and his transgendered wife who worked at Amazon’s Hebron, KY location. The case was filed in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky in Covington, Case No. 2:17-CV-00134. The lawsuit includes claims against Amazon for retaliation, violations of Title VII of The Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Kentucky Civil Rights Act, and Kentucky Wage and Hour Act.
