Amanda Walker is an attorney at Kentucky Employment Lawyers, in Louisville, Kentucky. Ms. Walker concentrates her practice on all aspects of employment law, serving clients throughout the state. She has experience representing employees in matters involving discrimination, retaliation claims, severance agreements, sexual harassment, workers’ compensation and wrongful termination.
Ms. Walker has been a licensed attorney in Kentucky since 2010 and has several years of negotiation and litigation experience. Originally from the Louisville area, she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in law and public policy from the University of Louisville and received her law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
In addition to her classes during law school, Ms. Walker served as the coordinator for the Chase College of Law’s Advocacy Program and belonged to the Legal Association of Women. Following law school, she took the bar examination and became admitted to practice in all Commonwealth courts of Kentucky.
Ms. Walker enjoys being active in her legal community and is a member of various professional organizations. She belongs to the Louisville Bar Association and the Kentucky Justice Association. She is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association and belongs to the labor and employment law sections of both organizations.
Ms. Walker is committed to serving the needs of Kentucky residents who have lost their jobs due to work-related problems. She works hard on behalf of each of her clients to ensure that fair compensation is received.
